Caponata is the Sicilian recipe par excellence, protagonist of the culinary culture of the island. There are many variations, we have selected the most widespread, frying the vegetables in our fine extra virgin olive oil Frantoi Cutrera.
A crunchy and tasty pesto
This typical Sicilian recipe is obtained with two of the most distinctive ingredients of our cuisine: pistachio and almond, bound together by the “Cosacavaddu” cheese, typical of Monti Iblei. A pesto with a sweet and delicate flavor and a fresh and aromatic scent.

Cutrera IGP Sicilia is our blend of the best and most representative native cultivars. It is the extra virgin olive oil that best expresses Sicilianness. And it is also the first oil to have obtained the Protected Geographical Indication “Sicilia” certification.
