Segreti di Sicilia ready-made sauces are prepared following traditional Sicilian recipes: fresh ingredients, Cutrera extra virgin olive oil, no thickeners, no artificial preservatives. An authentic pasta dish in less than ten minutes.
The range covers the island's most iconic recipes. The Norma sauce, the quintessential Catania recipe, is prepared with fried eggplant and salted ricotta — sweet, savory, and hearty. The tuna and caper sauce uses generously proportioned tuna in extra virgin olive oil and Sicilian capers, with no filler tomato paste. The anchovy and wild fennel sauce brings to the table one of the most characteristic combinations of traditional Sicilian cuisine — intense and aromatic, perfect with bucatini. The arrabbiata sauce is prepared with spicy Sicilian chili pepper and tomato, with no artificial flavors.
Segreti di Sicilia sauces are mainly used to dress pasta, but they are also excellent as a topping for bruschetta, as a base for gourmet pizzas, or to flavor meat and fish main courses.
