Il nostro olio extravergine d’oliva monocultivar Primo DOP racchiude nel suo nome la sua stessa storia. È ottenuto dalle olive della prima raccolta dell’annata, è stato il nostro primo olio ad essere premiato ed è stato il primo evo certificato DOP Monti Iblei. Proprio grazie al nostro lungo lavoro di sperimentazioni in campo e in frantoio è stato possibile infatti avviare l’iter per il riconoscimento di quella che oggi viene considerata una delle DOP siciliane più pregiate e ricercate.

Il nostro Primo DOP è da oltre 20 anni sul podio dei principali concorsi nazionali ed esteri e ha collezionato dal 2001 in poi circa 170 premi riconoscimenti. Presente costantemente nella prestigiosa guida FLOS OLEI che monitora i migliori oli extravergine d’oliva a livello internazionale. Sempre finalista al prestigioso concorso Ercole Olivario e più volte vincitore nelle varie categorie. Ha ottenuto il primo posto nel 2019 al Sol d’Oro del salone Sol di Verona dove ogni anno è ospite fisso delle ultime fasi di selezione. Primo DOP ha raggiunto le finali e vinto almeno una volta tutti i concorsi nazionali e internazionali dedicati alle eccellenze olearie. Dall’Olive Oil Competition di Los Angeles al Feinschmecker Olivenöltest - Olio Award di Zurigo. Inoltre è sempre segnalato nelle principali guide gastronomiche, come Slow Food e Gambero Rosso che ci ha assegnato anche la prestigiosa Stella per aver ottenuto le Tre Foglie di qualità per dieci anni consecutivi.
