Artisanal Organic Sicilian Honey — Segreti di Sicilia

Segreti di Sicilia honey comes from certified organic apiaries on the island, in areas far from sources of pollution, where Mediterranean flora grows wild and unspoiled. No heat treatments that destroy enzymes and properties, no added sugars or flavors. Only raw honey, cold-filtered and packaged.
Sicily is one of the richest honey-producing regions in Italy, thanks to the botanical variety of its territory: citrus, sulla, chestnut, and wild wildflower. Each Sicilian honey has a distinct character, linked to the blossoms from which it originates and the microclimate of the production area.
Among the products in the line, Segreti di Sicilia organic Sicilian orange blossom honey is the most requested: light in color, with a delicate citrus floral scent, and a fine, persistent sweetness. It is the quintessential traditional Sicilian honey, produced during the blossoming periods of orange groves in eastern and western Sicily. The organic wildflower honey, on the other hand, collects the wild blossoms of the Mediterranean scrub — thyme, rosemary, sulla — with a more complex and rustic aromatic profile.
Segreti di Sicilia organic Sicilian honey is ideal for breakfast on bread or in herbal teas, as a natural sweetener in cooking, paired with Pecorino or ricotta cheeses, or as an ingredient in traditional Sicilian desserts such as mustazzoli and nougat.
