Biancolilla from Frantoi Cutrera is AIRO's Best Sicilian Olive Oil 2026
The International Association of Oil Restaurants — AIRO — is the benchmark in Italy for spreading the culture of extra virgin olive oil in professional catering. Every year, it selects the best Italian oils by region, involving qualified tasters and associated restaurateurs throughout Italy.
For 2026, our Biancolilla received the award for Best Oil of Sicily.
Biancolilla is one of the oldest and most distinctive cultivars of Western Sicily: an oil with a delicate and elegant profile, with light fruity notes and a balanced structure that makes it extraordinarily versatile in the kitchen. An oil that tells the story of a territory even before it tells the story of an olive mill.
