We use innovative cooking and preservation techniques that guarantee absolute respect for the original recipe and, at the same time, the preservation of all the organoleptic characteristics of the fresh product and its main nutritional aspects. Capers are a typical ingredient of Mediterranean cuisine: they add flavor and freshness to many dishes, from summer salads to caponata. In the south, the fruit grows spontaneously in stony soil and often even emerges from walls. Capers are a natural source of antioxidants such as quercetin, known for its antibacterial properties.

Capers in sea salt can be used in many recipes. First, however, they must be desalted. That is, you need to rinse under running water to remove excess salt, the preservation salt. Once washed, they are ready to dress salads or flavor sauces for first courses or second courses of meat and, above all, fish.

You can eat up to 12 capers a day, preferably natural and without cooking. Usually consumed they have anti-allergic properties because they contain substances responsible for antihistamine activity. Therefore their consumption is particularly recommended during the spring season.

Sea salt is flavored with the addition of spices and dried herbs. This mixing allows you to add taste and flavor to dishes without having to add quantities of salt. We follow a family recipe that allows us to respect the right proportions between salt and aromas and we only use strictly Sicilian, zero kilometer herbs and spices.
