    Our sauce with Sicilian black pork sausage is produced by lightly sautéing onion in Frantoi Cutrera extra virgin olive oil. Separately, the sausage prepared with pork, salt, fennel seeds and chilli pepper is fried. The two sautés are then combined with the tomato sauce and herbs (bay leaves and fennel seeds). The sauce has an intense red color, with strong aromatic notes of pork sausage and fennel seeds. The velvety texture alternates with the consistency of the pieces of meat. The flavor is sweet, tasty and slightly aromatic.

The meat of the black pig, an indigenous Sicilian breed widespread especially in the Nebrodi mountains, is particularly rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids.
